level. 14+ Things Cannot Remain the Same (相変わらずではいられない, Aikawarazu de wa irarenai) is the continuation of volume 14. Despite being the 'fifteenth' volume of the Hai to Gensō no Grimgar light novel series, it is not volume fifteen. That volume is made up of 3 short-stories which were originally released with a DVD set and one new story following Ranta's adventure at around the same time as the event of Level. 14.
For the English print release, Seven Sea chose to combine Level. 14+ and 14++ into one volume called Level. 14.5, which uses Level.14+'s cover for the front cover and 14++'s for the back cover.
Synopsis[]

During the time Haruhiro and his team strayed into the unknown world of Parano, something thunderous was about to happen in the world of Grimgar. Entering back to the now turbulent world, he hides his face by wearing a mask and aims to go back alone towards Alterna.

A newly written episode depicting Ranta's struggles during his journey, Masked Humanity. As well, the thoughts of the volunteer solider trainee Manato who died in the midst of his ambitions, Just Please, Only a Little Bit More; Shihoru's and Yume's interactions with their instructors in their respective guilds, Today is 'Good Night'. These four extra episodic stories will be based from the bonus novels from the anime television series!
