Ian Ratty (イアン・ラッティー, Ian Rattī) was one of the 3 Brigadier General of the Frontier Army, he died fighting when the Southern expedition took Alterna.

It's mentioned that he and fellow Brigadier General Jord Horn are said to have died fighting during the Southern expedition's assault on Alterna. As they're not found after the Expeditionary force retakes the city it seems pretty certain that they're indeed dead.
Abilities[]
We known next to nothing about Ian's ability, but from Anthony comments about him he was apparently an extraordinary warrior, "a warrior among warrior" and the one who should have lead the offencive on Deadhead Watching Keep. He also seems like he was a skilled leader has Anthony is hoping that he will become General Rasentra's successor.
