Elves are a race that live in the Shadow Forest (影森, Kagemori). They have an alliance with the Frontier Army that secures the sole fortified stronghold in the frontier.
Elves live to be around 250 years old. They age normally like humans until they are 20 and then the aging process slows down. The capital city is called Alnortuu (アルノートゥ, Arunōtu).
Elf fertility is at a low so each new birth is treasured. They seem to worship a goddess called Laflorte (ラフロルテ, Rafurorute). Elves are very vain and only value beauty.
The 18 Great Families[]
There are 18 Great Families with three schools or guilds: Seven Swords, Six Spells, and Five Bows (七剣, 六呪, 五弓, Nanaken, Rokushu, Gokyū). Elf children learn from all three schools until they find which school they are best at. Those good with swords become Sword Dancers (剣舞師, Ken Bushi), those good with spells become Shamans (呪医, Jui), and those good with bows become Archers (弓使い, Yumizukai). The 18 families were formed from the 18 heroes that helped save the Shadow Forest in the past.

House Melcurian[]
House Melcurian (メルキュリアン家, Merukyurian-ka): a Sword Dancer family.
- Mililyu (ミリリュ, Miriryu).
House Landurowal[]
House Landurowal (ランドゥロワル家, Shutorarumu-ka): a Shaman family. One of the famed Six Spells.
- Bentowan (ベントワン) is the current lord.
- Arollyah (アローリャ, Arōrya) the eldest child. Wezel wife. She was supposed to succeed House Landurowal but left due to the immense burden as heiress to the noble family.
- Aryalleah (アリャレア, aryarea) is second child of family. Is now heiress.
