Given the pace at which the story has progressed, how long do you think it will be before the main characters get to the No-Life King or find something about how they came to be on Grimgar?
I would say no. Not really equivalent. If they were it wouldn't be the Amazon's related to DC comics but the actual Amazons of Greek Mythology. But I don't really think there is a comparison between an all girl mercenary group and entire civilization/culture of only women.
I would prefer that he came before Haruhiro's group
Martin Grant. A Hunter. Is focusing on self-sufficiency and being able to survive in the wild.
Perfectly fine to do so. You can also post it on fanfiction.net if you want. There are not a lot of Grimgar stories but there are some.
Paladin's probably are more limited in spells as well. There are also certain spells that Priests can cast that are for Paladins only. So there is a synergistic component for those two classes. Given a Paladin's use of shields and defensive techniques, they are there to be a Priest's tank and guard essentially.
I never said you couldn't leave your guild, just that you couldn't be a part of multiple guilds at the same time. Trust me. A lot of you what you just said, I've manually put in this wiki. I'm just saying that in the first volume, Haruhiro states that he could only join one guild and he thought that was restrictive. And that he could quit the tthieves guild but he would have to repay the entrance fee. Page 80 and 83 of Volume 1 state that. And on page 97, Haruhiro mentions that in order to join the Warrior's guild he would have to quit the Thief's Guild.
@Blerghers, really? I could have sworn that in order to join a different guild you had to quit the guild you currently belonged to. I'm pretty sure in Volume 1 page 80 Haruhiro stats he could only join one guild. Was that because he couldn't pay to join another guild? He did mention that joining only one guild was restrictive.

Unfortunately, the author isn't very descriptive. Tabs are probably the way to go for large amounts of info. A lot of other wikis go that route.
About the colorcoding . . . . are you talking about each party/clan individually having their own color theme or just having a color theme for Parties and a color theme for Clans?
Some clans have listed colors like Iron Knuckles are blue and black.
It looks good to me. Sorry for the late reply.
@The seeking seer it is possible to multi class in Grimgar. However, you can only belong to one Guild at a time. So you would have to leave your current guild, pay the fee, and then pay the entry fee to join a new Guild. The only exception is Dread Knight. Once you join that guild you can never leave. The only possible downside is that if you switch guilds it could prevent you from learning the top tier skills as they are only available to the more loyal members.
One thing to keep in mind is that Priest's wield blunt weapons not bladed ones as to not draw blood. I'm not sure if ex-Priests are exempt from that rule or if they do wield bladed weapons that it will interfere with their spellcasting.
Yes. The Priest of Akira's Party used to be a Mage and can still cast Mage spells. In fact, he claims to have learned all the spells that the Mage Guild teaches and can actually create his own spells that have amazing power.
The tricky thing is that it will depend on what your class after quitting the Mage's Guild. Apparently, the elemental spirits don't work well around metal and it takes a special, expensive material to be coated onto the metal object in order for a Mage to cast spells. See Mimori's page of the Tokkis party. I believe the explanation is there.
Hard to say . . . . personally I think Hunter would be most useful as it teaches you survival skills and to live off of the land so if you wanted to get away from it all you could.
I think a Hunter/Thief combo would be best because the skills both guilds teach are very complimentary. You get long range, short range, stealth, tracking, traps, dodging, visual acuity, and knife skills from both guilds. So it stacks well together in my opinion.
@Blerghers This post was more along the lines of if the party had to change their class, which class would benefit or be most complimentary to their first one.
@Streetkillz Maybe if a Dread Knight gets enough vices they will be able to merge with their demon.
If Team Haruhiro had to change their class, what other class would suit them best?
Haruhiro - Hunter. A hunter has many similar traits to a thief. Haruhiro and Yume are the scouts of the party so being able to track/read trails combined with Sneaking would be beneficial. Both a Hunter and a Thief are lightly armored. A Hunter would also give Haruhiro ranged capabilities with archery. He would also gain skills that enhance his visual acuity, dodging capabilities, and additional knife skills as that is his primary weapon as a Thief.
Ranta - Dread Knight ergo no other class.
Yume - Thief. Pretty much for all the same reasons as Haruhiro. Being a Thief would compliment Yume's skills as a Hunter.
Shihoru - Really, the only thing for her is to be a Priest. Can't see her being anything else.
Mary - Mage is a possibility, though given how she used to be a frontline fighter in her first party I could see her as a Paladin.
Kuzaku - Honestly not sure. A Warrior would not be too be a stretch.
Moguzo - Paladin, obviously, but I can also see him being a good Priest, however it wouldn't play to his strength.
Manato - Honestly he would probably be great in any class but I could see him being a great Paladin or Warrior.
What are your choices?
I have found supporting evidence for both theories, though I lean towards it being a fantasy world. Interested in hearing your thoughts.
In light of the new J-Novel translations, many things have different names than what they did. The wiki will begin transitioning to use the official translations.
