What would your guild/class be?
What would your guild/class be?
Ooooh. Now that's hard. I prefer to be a mixed breed as opposed to sticking to one position.
Haruhiro definitely influenced my interest in the Thieves' guild, but to be more precise, the action scenes that are used nowadays in movies is what made me intrigued with the class. Stunt scenes incorporate judo and brazilian jiu-jitsu and whatnot (think John Wick), and I think those [badass] fighting skills suit the Thief position (PARKOOUURR). And I'm pretty sure they're closest to assassin.
but I think initially becoming a Hunter doesn't seem so bad. I'd prefer to learn how survive out in the wilderness first, Bear Grylls style.
As a mage...hmmm. It would be pretty cool to use magic as I have some decent ideas of managing new spells, but that's just me. Who knows if it would work well in Grimgar world.
I don't think I'm fit to be a tank or main attacker, but I am super jealous of people with the brute strength and endurance as a Warrior or Paladin (and, might I say, being a Samurai is mother f@ckin' badass?). I tip my hat off to them for their courage!
Hard to say . . . . personally I think Hunter would be most useful as it teaches you survival skills and to live off of the land so if you wanted to get away from it all you could.
I think a Hunter/Thief combo would be best because the skills both guilds teach are very complimentary. You get long range, short range, stealth, tracking, traps, dodging, visual acuity, and knife skills from both guilds. So it stacks well together in my opinion.
Mhh, interesting. Would you still be able to use spells and magic skills after quitting the Mages' Guild?
